Alan, Andrea, Mahri, Dave, Paul, Gaye, Bob, Ian M, Chris, Gordon, Enice, Murray, Bill (and Meg).

The A9 was blocked on the way up by an accident which meant some of the group had to make detours to get there. The weather on the drive up was glorious but there was rain and low cloud on Saturday and Sunday morning

Enice and Chris did Beinn Fhada which had a good path, Gordon turned back at the plateau. Alan set off in the same direction before the weather made him rethink and he returned to the hostel

Murray and Bill made it almost to the top of the Saddle before turning back. The Mountain Rescue, Police and a helicopter were all out as someone had fallen to their death from the Forcan Ridge

Ian and Bob had intended to do a Graham but their plans were scuppered due a bridge being down. They had great weather on a Marilyn near Dornie on the Friday

Dave, Paul, Mahri, Andrea and Gaye did three munros at the north of the Cluanie Inn (Carn Ghluasaid, Sgurr nan Conbhairean and Sail Chaorainn) It was a “Rodgerson” route on the way back which cut across rough hillside. Views were very limited due to the weather

No-one was tempted to walk on the Sunday as the conditions hadn’t improved. Chris did a lovely cycle from Ratagan to Glen Elg and then did the Brothers on the Monday

The catering for the communal meal on the Saturday was exceptional with portion sizes being suited to the group size. Thanks to those who brought firewood for the stove which ensured that all were cosy. Hostel is looking a little tired and kitchen could do with being redesigned
